Bungie renames Halo 3: Recon
Bungie announced today that they've renamed Halo 3: Recon to Halo 3:ODST. The reson for the change was not really clear in the announcement. Maybe they're tryingto make a clear distinction between Halo 3 and the upcoming expansion. No worries though as teh Recon armor will still be available is you complete all teh vidmaster achievements, so Bungie says.

Halo Wars release announced
The release of the much anticipated RTS Halo Wars has been annouced. Unlike earlier reports, Halo Wars is due to ship out in Feb 2009. No specific date in Feb. has been announced. There'll be two versions, the regular and the Limited Collectors Edition. The limited edition will include a bunch of goodies and the Halo 3 mythic map pack.
